5 Ways To Entertain Yourself When You’re Sick.

Sometimes being sick is inevitable, especially if your immune system likes to take a nice holiday break more often than it should, like mine does. At the moment I’m laying in bed with a raging fever thanks to tonsillitis and 4 ulcers in my mouth. So here’s how I have been keeping myself occupied while being sick.

1. Netflix.
Netflix has been my best friend this afternoon. I’ve been watching The Vampire Diaries and Tyler Oakley’s documentary ‘Snervous’ which I’ve been really enjoying. At least I have time to binge watch tv shows now.

2. Movie Marathon.
Tomorrow I’m planning a Hunger Games marathon in anticipation for Mockingjay Part 2 coming out on DVD soon. I can’t wait!

3. Take a Bath.
If you have a temperature or are like me and keep going from hot to cold, then a bath can be a great way to try and balance your temperature. If you’re hot, then have a cool bath and vice versa.

4. Catch Up With Friends.
Not in person, obviously, but send a message to some friends that you haven’t had much of a chance to catch up with. Sometimes it’s nice to feel sociable when you’re curled up in bed eating chocolate ice cream.

5. Sleeping.
Naps are the best when you’re sick. Take a half hour one or a four hour one. Let your body recuperate and allow your immune system to fight off whatever you have. Sleep is the best way to get better so don’t fight it.
